Our Story

A very personal journey inspired BlueWing’s founder to provide brighter tomorrows for those who need them most.

BlueWing Care Professionals was established in 2018 when Zoe Norton, who now serves as Chief Visionary Officer, set out to provide support to those with a disability who felt helpless, alone or isolated. Her compulsion to make a difference in their lives came from her own personal experience.

Zoe’s journey with disability started with the premature arrival of her daughter. Zoe and her husband were blessed with a healthy child they named Courtney. Soon, however, their baby girl was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Being told that their baby would never walk or talk was heart-wrenching to hear as parents.

Zoe and her husband made it their mission to surround their daughter with early intervention, the right support and determination. At age 5, Courtney took her first steps. Today, Courtney is a happy, healthy, walking, talking and very capable young adult who is studying to pursue a career in childcare.

It was because of this journey that Zoe felt compelled to reach out to help others who may be feeling helpless, alone or isolated. She had to share her passion for helping people gain access to the support they need in order to live their best life.

So, with strong foundations in palliative care, disability, complex care support and a rich understanding of linking participants with the best support for their needs, Zoe’s vision for BlueWing was, and still is, to bring communities closer through life changing support so that no one feels alone.

We’re glad you’ve found us, and look forward to making you part of the next chapter in our story.
