THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech & Language Therapist, part time or full time, who is wanting to develop their skills in the disability sector. The successful applicant will be working with a growing and strong team of Allied Health professionals and will receive supervision, mentoring and support. This role is open to all levels of experience from graduate to Senior Speech Pathologists.

THE ROLE:

Based out of our Beenleigh office, this role is focused on providing Participants with the support needed to achieve their goals. Within this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Assessment of speech and communication capabilities.
• Assessment of feeding and swallowing capabilities.
• Development of mealtime management plans.
• Development and implementation of therapeutic interventions to address the client’s communication goals (through carrying out therapy sessions, delivery of parent training, or implementation of home program).
• Prescription of communication devices and relevant assistive tech where required
• Writing assessment reports and progress reports.
• Assisting people of all ages and disabilities in the community with a variety of speech, language and communication skills.
